祭奠eBay Gift Card——又一只被慢慢薅死的肥羊

让我们擦一擦泪，一起回顾一下这段辛酸的故事，这个故事讲了一只慢慢被薅死的羊……EBAY GIFT CARD的血泪史

• 2016年3月《eBay限制每单gc使用张数》

eBay网站开始实施礼卡使用新政策。废除六个月内同一账户只能使用$5,000 eBay礼品卡的规定，改为一单交易上线使用$1,000 eBay礼品卡或者八张eBay礼品卡。

• 2016年4月《eBay不允许gc购买eBay gc了》

eBay交易系统全面禁止客户用eBay礼品卡来“滚”eBay礼品卡了。虽然eBay网站条款明确注明禁止使用eBay礼品卡来购买eBay礼品卡，但是在实际使用中，我们还是可以这么做，俗称：系统可以过。大家用更通俗的说法来描述这个做法：“滚”。因为eBay有的时候会把自家100刀的礼品卡打95折售卖，在多次滚的过程中，你就可以间接产生利润。比如你首先用95刀买了一张100刀的礼品卡，那么到下一次打折的时候，你就可以用这一张100刀的礼品卡去买95刀的礼品卡，你打卡中就剩了5刀，以此类推，越积越多。

至此，好日子到头了!  我们再也不能使用这种方法了赚钱了！不管是ebay电子礼品卡或者ebay实体的礼品卡，eBay系统都无法让你使用ebaygc来买ebaygc。

不过那之后，eBay系统还是可以用eBay礼品卡购买第三方礼品卡的，我们常常可以用便宜的价格买到打折的油卡，饭店礼卡，Staples, Bestbuy等等礼品卡。

• 2016年7月《eBay限制60天内只能使用$2,000 eBay礼卡！》

eBay网站常常提供打折的油卡，饭馆礼卡，如果有刚需的话，非常方便合算。eBay也常常推出多倍ebuck返现的活动，高达8%的返现为你的购物锦上添花。ebucks每季度累计，一季度结束以后可以兑换，购买eBay网站任何东西，也可以购买eBay礼卡留着将来使用。

而自2016年7月15日起，如果你是90天之内注册的新账户，90天之内只能使用$1,000 eBay礼卡，如果你注册账户已经超过90天，那么在今后，60天之内你只能使用$2,000 ebay礼品卡。

• 2016年8月《eBay不允许使用ebay礼卡购买其他任何礼卡》

是的，从今日起，eBay官网已经修改了term，明文禁止 eBay的礼卡giftcard不能用于购买其他的任何礼卡。在term的第9条里写到：

The Gift Card may not be used to pay eBay or PayPal service fees. The Gift Card also may not be used to buy eBay Gift Cards, third party gift cards, gift certificates, coupons, coins, paper money, virtual currency, or items generally considered to be “bullion” (for example, gold, silver, and other precious metals in the form of coins, bars, or ingots).

意味着我们再也不能打折或amexoffer时去囤曾几何时万能的eBay Gift card，然后在eBay bucks多倍或者ebay上其他giftcard打折的时候使用囤积的ebaygc去购买第三方礼品卡了。但如果Amex Offer能薅到打折的Amazon/eBaygc，还是可以适量囤一些，毕竟ebay上也常常会有一些非常不错的deal，比如Macbook啊 耳机什么的。

Introduction

By purchasing, accepting or using the eBay Gift Card in physical or digital form (“Gift Card“) and in consideration for your right to use the Gift Card, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions“) and the terms and conditions contained in the eBay User Agreement (the “eBay User Agreement“). In these Terms and Conditions, “you” and “your” means the cardholder who has purchased or received a Gift Card. “We” or “our” means eBay Gift Card Services, Inc., and eBay Inc., as applicable.

The terms and conditions of the eBay User Agreement are incorporated herein by reference. Please be advised that the eBay User Agreement contains provisions that govern how claims you and we have against each other are resolved (see section entitled “Legal Disputes ” in the eBay User Agreement). It also contains an arbitration agreement section entitled “Agreement to Arbitrate”, which will, with limited exceptions, require you to submit claims you have against us to binding and final arbitration, unless you opt out of the arbitration agreement (see the “Legal Disputes ” provision in the eBay User Agreement). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and those contained in the eBay User Agreement, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

Redemption

1. You must have a PayPal account, an eBay account registered in the U.S., and a U.S. shipping address to redeem the Gift Card. For security purposes, you may be required to enter credit card or bank account information to open a PayPal account.
2. Invalid or unidentifiable Gift Card numbers will not be redeemed.
3. As a security feature, upon first use the Gift Card (including funds on the Gift Card) becomes non-transferable and links to the eBay account associated with the Gift Card’s first use.
4. The Gift Card may only be used for purchases on ebay.com when PayPal is accepted.
5. It is important that you track the Gift Card balance. You may check your Gift Card balance by using the Gift Card balance checker at https://giftcards.ebay.com/balance.

Restrictions

6. The Gift Card is not refundable or redeemable for cash or credit, unless required by law.
7. The Gift Card may be used to make purchases only up to the available balance on the Gift Card. The available balance of the Gift Card is reduced by the amount of each purchase of goods or services and by other deductions, if any, that may be required by law.
8. If you want to use the Gift Card to make a purchase that exceeds the available balance on the Gift Card, you must combine the use of the Gift Card with additional payment from your PayPal account or other funding source. You agree that we are not responsible if you do not have enough funds on your Gift Card to facilitate a transaction.
9. The Gift Card may not be used to pay eBay or PayPal service fees. The Gift Card also may not be used to buy eBay Gift Cards, third party gift cards, gift certificates, coupons, coins, paper money, virtual currency, or items generally considered to be “bullion” (for example, gold, silver, and other precious metals in the form of coins, bars, or ingots).
10. During the first 90 days after registering an eBay account, no more than a total of $1,000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed. For eBay accounts greater than 90 days old, no more than a total of $2,000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed over any 60-day period. Further, you may only redeem a maximum of eight Gift Cards in any single transaction (and fewer if you are redeeming Gift Cards in combination with other redemption codes, such as coupons or vouchers).
