根据DOC通报，西南航空延长了酒店转点获得同行票的最后期限！截至日期为2017年3月31日。大礼包转点的小伙伴抓住最后的机会吧！！！

牧羊场曾经介绍过西南航空常旅计划以及同行票的获得。鸡年新年伊始，西南航空便对里程票的获得途径进行了变革，减少了同行票获得的若干途径，这一变革势必将增加同行票的获得的难度。变革包括且不仅局限于排除了酒店转点来获得同行票的方式。西南航空没有提前做任何通知，在新年第一天的变革让人毫无准备，措手不及。

西南航空同行票相比其他航空公司同行票的巨大优势

• 巴克莱AA同行票：需要是AAdvantage^® Aviator™ Silver World Elite MasterCard^®持卡人（年费195刀）消费三万可获得一张同行票，同行票需要额外每人交99刀+税费，且一次最多能带2个人，只能使用一次。
• 阿拉斯加航空同行票：需要持卡BOA Alaska Airlines Visa Signature^® Credit Card（年费75刀）可获得。同行票需要每人交121刀起（根据航线不同而不同），可带一人，且只能使用一次。
• 西南航空同行票：使用次数无限次，每个segment只需付费5.6刀的税费即可，最长有效期可两年（从获得年到次年年末止）。

此次变革解析

根据TPG提及西南航空已官方确认了此次变革

We’re working to protect the integrity and value of Southwest’s industry-unique Rapid Rewards® Companion Pass by closing a loophole that previously allowed Members to transfer mileage and points from other partner loyalty programs toward qualification for a Companion Pass. As we closed this loophole, we also updated our terms and conditions which now clarifies that points converted from hotel and car loyalty programs, and e-Rewards, e-Miles, Valued Opinions and Diners Club will no longer count toward qualification for a Companion Pass. Members will continue to earn Companion Pass benefits through paid flights flown on Southwest, points earned through spend with Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards credit cards, and base points earned through transactions with Rapid Rewards partners.

变革主要排除了通过以下途径获得同行票的方式

• 通过酒店和租车常旅客计划转点数
• e-Rewards问卷赚点数
• e-Miles问卷赚点数
• Valued Opinion问卷赚点数
• Diners Club  信用卡转点

变革的主要影响

• 将不能再通过万豪大礼包获得同行票
• 通过US Daily Gateway买折扣Choice Hotel Points后，转Southwest获得Compainion Pass的方式也将不可行

由于Companion Pass的有效期为获得Companion Pass的当年以及接下来的一整年。所以理论上来说，一张Companion Pass的最长有效期是2年。很多小伙伴都忍着去年年末没兑换万豪大礼包，等着新年伊始的今天兑换，一下子获得长达两年的Companion Pass来周游美帝。然而噩耗来的如此突然。。。。。。

仍然活着的获得同行票的途径

• 乘坐Southwest航班：也叫硬飞（在一个日历年内满足100个单程飞行）
• 通过Chase Southwest信用卡（开卡奖励 与 普通消费）
• Southwest小伙伴提供的Base Points （注：bonus points是不算的）

获得Companion Pass的最佳途径

现在获得Companion Pass的最佳方法就是申请Chase Southwest信用卡。

• Chase Southwest Premier (Personal) 50K开卡
• Chase Southwest Plus (Personal) 50K开卡
• Chase Southwest Premier (Business)

每张信用卡通过refer链接申请的开卡奖励都是消费$2,000，获得50,000 miles，所以开两张卡后几乎就满足了Southwest Companion Pass的要求。

这三张卡都是不同的产品，也就是说，如果你已经有的Chase Southwest Plus卡，你仍然可以申请Chase Southwest Premier信用卡并获得开卡奖励。值得注意的是这三张卡都受到Chase的5/24规则制约，有关5/24规则戳link
